A large early 20th century jointed golden mohair teddy bear, attributed to Steiff (Germany) and affectionately named Bernard, large black boot button eyes, pronounced snout with vertically black stitched nose and mouth, large elongated limbs, beige felt pads to hands and feet with black stitched claws, 71cm high

Provenance - The teddy bear is accompanied with a hand written tag around his arm which reads "BERNARD, given to Dorothy Auden by Major Garrett of Nantwich Road, Crewe in 1907".
