1896 5r Sepia, variety thin "U" in "RUPEES", mint, a little paper adhering to reverse, otherwise fine and very scarce. This variety occurred on stamp 3, row 2, on the first printing in 1896; it was then corrected by De La Rue, therefore only 84 examples can exist. S.G. 79a, £1,800. Photo on Page 178.
