A CHINESE JADE CARVED INCENSE STICK HOLDER WITH COVER, QIANLONG PERIOD, QING DYNASTY
Of cylindrical form, supported on three low feet carved in low relief with beast masks. The main body carved with a 70-words inscription, dated as 'Qianlong Jiazi Zhengyue' (January, 1744), signed as 'Wenfang', sealed 'Qianlong Nianzhi'. Lid carved with a chrysanthemum head motif in Mughal style. Height 11cm, diameter 3.7cm.
