Star Lot - A magnificent large example of antique majolica cheese dome. Designed with a wicker effect banding and rim and sporting a rich cobalt blue glaze with foliate handle. One of the biggest and best one we have seen. Chip to the foot rim underneath and an old repair to the base of the dome but overall in good condition for its size and age H36cm There is a video of this lot on our Facebook, instagram and tic Tok page under South Dublin Auction.
