Early 20th century Chinese robe with floral and moth motifs worked in satin and 'Forbidden Stitch'/ Chinese knot, on a muted red silk ground, with simple frog fastenings and black silk edging
Embroidery is in good condition, and the robe is intact with no holes or tears. There is evidence of colour fade and areas of discolouration mainly to sleeves, as shown in photos
