WWII AIRMAIL ROUTES DISPLAY: 1940-49 range of mainly censored covers mounted on display pages and well written-up outlining the status of internal and foreign airmail operations during the period inc. 1941 env. to Denmark franked 23K (inc. airmail surcharge) transported via Yugoslavia where censored and sealed with German tape; 1941 registered env. to Germany franked 25K endorsed "via Sofia" where censored and sealed with German tape; 1944 registered env. to USA franked 27½K probably travelling via Beyrouth, Lagos, and Algiers with French, British & US censor marks; and other examples mainly to UK or USA but also to South Africa, Austria, Switzerland, or Canada.
