14 1/2 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point. Wide fuller.  Forte with maker "F Herder. ASN Solingen".  The reverse with crowned Amberg.  Back edge dated "15".  Steel, turn up crossguard and pommel.  Wooden, grooved slab grips.  Together with a Chassepot steel scabbard.  2 items
