Has viii, 484 pages, 16 pages of adverts, with 16 plates of portraits many boxers of the period & a notable fight. Extensively detailing those many fights. A lot of information regarding the great Boxers such as; Tom Cribb, Belcher, Broughton, Johnson, Mendoza, Perrin & others. Expensively bound in marble boards with ribbed leather spine & gold tooling, size 6" x 9" (although marked Volume I this is a complete edition as there was never a Volume II ever printed)
