A worksplate, KERR, STUART, 4150, 1920, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST, one of two delivered new in March 1920 to the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board, Liverpool and numbered 31. Purchased for construction of the new Gladstone Dock. Sold in 1934 to the dealer F.V. Clarkson and resold to Peter Spence & Sons Ltd, Chemical Manufacturers, Widnes. Subsequently named PETER SPENCE and scrapped on site at Widnes September 1966. Cast brass, 13"x6¾", repainted. (Postage Band: B)
