SEALED CYLINDER WINE BOTTLE. 10.6ins tall, dark black/ green glass, shorter neck than previous two lots but a very distinctive chunky double rim, sloping top, c. 1770-80? Applied seal just below shoulder (minute under edge flake) featuring a capital ‘P’ below detailed coronet. Shallow base kick up, very rough pontil - watch your fingers! Full body sheen, whittled, crude. (9.5/10) NR
