WW1 9th Bn Royal West Kent Regiment Attributed Officer Sword. This example was carried by Lieutenant Horace Theodore Bond who was commissioned into the Royal West Kent Regiment attached to the Machine Gun Corps. The blade with etched decoration of a Crowned GVR cypher which is repeated to the guard of the hilt. The blade also with etched panel H.THEO BOND 9TH ROYAL WEST KENT. Housed in polished brown leather field service scabbard. Overall GC clean Lieutenant Horace Theodore Bond is confirmed as serving overseas being awarded the BWM & VM.
