AN 1850 PATTERN ROYAL ARTILLERY OFFICERS SWORD BY McQUEEN OF NEWCASTLE.
With an 89cm straight tapering and fullered blade, etched with Royal Coat of Arms, Cannon and Royal Artillery amongst lightening bolts, marked by R.Mc Queen and Son, Northumberland St Newcastle on Tyne, stamped 'Proved' to the other side. With a 3 bar type nickel plated guard with leather sword knot, fish skin grips bound with wire, in a leather service scabbard, 108cm overall.
