AN IMPRESSIVE MID 18TH CENTURY THREE-TRAIN MUSICAL LONGCASE CLOCK the 12 inch arched brass dial with wheater engraved border and mask head spandrels enclosing an engraved chaptering with Roman numerals and tune selector subsidiary dial, the matted centre with painted second's dial, silvered name badge and date ring below a rocking ship to the arch. Fronting a substantial three-train eight-day weight-driven movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on a bell, playing seven tunes on eight bells. The case with break arch pediment reeded columns and arch topped long trunk door on a panel base with double plinth. (255cm high)
