Qur’an LXXXII. Sura al-Infitar sura heading part of Basmala
Arabic manuscript on vellum, 7 lines of black Kufic script, diacritics in red, some letter pointings with sepia dashes, each verses separated with florish gold rosettes, one sura heading in gold Kufic issuing a palmette into the margin. This Kufic Qur’an folio is remarkable for the finely drawn gold and polychrome illuminated palmette which extends into the margin.
