A scarce 16 bore brass barrelled General Post Office military type flintlock belt pistol, by H Nock, c 1800, 16½” overall, barrel 10” with Tower private proofs and maker’s mark, and engraved “H Nock - London”; flat double line engraved lock signed “H. Nock”; walnut fullstock with military pattern brass mounts, engraved around the back of the butt cap “General - Post - Office”, with 5½” belt hook and replacement ramrod.
