A Sampson Hancock King Street Derby porcelain Masonic ballot box, domed icehouse cover within moulded base decorated with masonic tools and symbols, including compass, trowel, sword, ropes, book, spade, etc, S & H Paget Derby marks in purple, 21cm diameter

This rare piece of Derby and Masonic History was sent to the factory when doubt was cast upon its pedigree many year ago, the factory confirmed its authenticity and scarcity as these were only made for a very short time, the owners Mr & Mrs Stevens were entertained at the factory with the box, where images and details were taken, the factory at that time had only ever seen one other example, a Newspaper cutting detailing this is present with this box
