POSTAL HISTORY - CRIMEA WAR: 1855 August. Three page letter from a French soldier (to his mother and brother)camped at Devant, Sebastopol. Mentions army life and is easily readable (in French) with some staining but only to be expected under the conditions the letter was written. Nice Military item.
