A pair of silver-plated twin-handled sauce tureens, early 20th Century, by William Hutton & Sons Ltd, Sheffield, with 'cross arrows' figural trademark, oval with broad foliate and shell cast gadrooned rims, the domed covers with foliate loop handles, with leaf-capped reeded twin handles, raised on four leaf-capped scroll feet. (2) Approx. 19.5cm across handles
Very slight diagonal rocking between feet to each. Heavy gauge. Erased crest to side of each, small area rubbed through to copper beneath. Slight wear to edges of covers. Interiors clean. Surface marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
