A Chinese famille rose 'auspicious objects' jar of ovoid form with rolled rim and lion-dog ring handles, painted to each side with a large bat supporting a vase, lingzhi, lotus, red clove, coins and banners, flanked by attendants, apocryphal painted four-character mark 'Made during the Wanli reign', Qing Dynasty, 24.5cm [minor rim frits/chips].
