A near pair of massive Chinese patinated bronze planters on oak stands, with elephant and dragon handles, relief moulded friezes, the heavy oak bases having carved lion paw feet, planter dimensions excluding handles 82cm x 52cm, height including stands 78cm
Both bronze planters have extensive surface dirt from use, with some corrosion to interior but no holes or repairs, exteriors have surface dirt and signs of wear but are in general good condition with no repairs or major faults, the stands have multiple marks and knocks from wear and use but appear in good complete condition with no major losses or repairs, both are stable, 1 stand is missing strip under bronze planter to stop sliding
