A 1914 STAR TO THE ROYAL NAVAL DIVISION. A 1914 Star named to L 5/3583 H. Herman A.B. R.N.V.R. Collingwood Bttn R.N.D. Hans Herman was born at Hull on the 23rd April 1886 to a Danish father. Hans joined the Volunteer Reserve on the 11th August 1914. He was taken prisoner in Antwerp being listed as missing on the 20th November 1914 and was then held at Doeberitz camp. Released on the 6th February 1919. Records suggest he was also issued with a clasp for his 1914 Star. Mounted for display with copied research.
