Victorian Royal Navy Warrant Officer's Presentation Sword. A good scarce example, the blade etched with fouled anchor surmounted by a Victorian Crown, also presentation panel PRESENTED TO H TAYLOR FROM OFFICERS HMS BEMBOW ON HIS PROMOTION GUNNER RN. Solid gilt metal guard, with black shagreen grip and stepped gilt metal pommel. Housed in black leather scabbard with gilt metal mounts. Gilt polished, etching to blade clear, with some rust spots. GC.
