A Belgian 6 shot 12mm closed frame double action pinfire revolver, c 1865, round barrel 130mm, engraved in gothic script “Bertonnet Buenos Ayres Calle San Martin 50” (indistinct), Liege proved, the cylinder and screwless frame engraved with scrolls and marked “FASSIN-RONGE BREVETE 55” (faint), with folding trigger, swivel strap loop to the rear of the hammer, one piece chequered walnut grip, and lanyard ring. GWO & basically GC (worn overall with some light pitting, grip split). Ejecting would appear to be effected by removing the cylinder and using the cylinder pin as an ejector rod. £200-250
