Victorian Royal Navy Officer's Sword By Wilkinson
31 inch, single edged blade with sharpened back edge point. Central fuller. Etched rope and floral panels with Tudor crowned anchor and royal coat of arms. Owner's entwined initials. Forte with maker "Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London". Back edge numbered "31897" (1892). Brass, half bowl guard with Victorian crowned, fouled anchor cartouche. Brass lion mask pommel and backstrap. White shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its black leather scabbard with brass mounts. The throat with steel locking catch and maker's shield "Wilkinson Gun & Sword Maker Pall Mall London". Complete with later sword knot.
