A Victorian club armchair by Howard & Sons, London, late 19th century, the gently arched back extending to down swept padded arms, enclosing the straight front sprung seat, upon turned vase shaped walnut front legs on brass castors, plain rear legs of square section, one rear leg impressed 'Howard & Sons Ltd, Berners St' along with the number '1139 2252', both front castors impressed 'Howard & Sons, London', 83cm H, seat height 31cm x 78cm W x 98cm D

Minor stains and marks to the fabric, very minor flexing in the arm joints, seat and rear springs feel 'soft' when sitting in the chair.
General light scuffs and marks to the legs, however no visible signs of woodworm
Internal front to rear legs - 74cm wide
Front of fore leg to the back of the rear leg - 85cm
Max width - 78cm
Between arms - 59cm wide
