Henry VIII (1509-1547) Groat, second coinage, Laker bust D, mintmark lis (1509-26) both sides. Crowned bust right. Rev, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée, 2.73gm (S. 2337E; N. 1797). Good Very Fine, attractive icy blue toning to legend. Old pre WWII Baldwin’s ticket in the hand of AHB priced at 5/-.
