Large Antique Bracket Clock by George Allen, Red Lion Passage, London. The Spire Shaped Pediment, white Painted Dial with Roman Numerals, the Rear Fitted with Glass Door Revealing a Substantial Brass Musical Movement.
Good overall Condition for age, the Face looks as though it may have been re-painted, no key for rear door, glass has been removed to allow pendulum to be re-hung, the clock has been wound and is working as expected, rings on the quarter hour. several small areas of veneer cracking and loss.
An update on the condition report of the clock, the clock runs for a short time and then stops (maybe half an hour) we have restarted it several times but seems to stop.
