Starting from mid July we will have a vacancy to join our small team as a Porter at Watsons Auction Rooms in Heathfield. This job is very physically demanding. As we are a small team you will need to be willing to step into other roles when required. A willingness learn about the items you will be handling is more important than experience. Good customer skills are required both face to face and on the telephone as well as an aptitude to learning our back office computer system. This role is Monday to Friday although very occasional weekend work may be required and a flexibility to hours depending upon workload is also essential. Heathfield is not serviced particularly well from out-lying areas (especially out of rush hour) so own transport, whilst not essential, would be beneficial.
