1923 South Africa 8-coin proof set, The First coinage of the South African Mint Pretoria. Comprising halfcrown to farthing in silver and bronze. Some light uneven toning and a couple of handling marks to the florin obverse otherwise all as struck and presented in original Mappin & Webb fitted case. A superb early proof set, sure to appeal to the advanced world coin collector. 1402 sets only recorded minted.
