Michael Keeling (British, 1750-1820), Portrait of Rev. Robert Hill (1746-1831) of Hough Hall, oil on canvas, signed and dated 1805, 50in x 40in (127c x 101.5cm), framed. Note: Rev. Robert Hill (1746-1831) of Hough Hall, also Rector of Bolas Magna in Shropshire. He was brother to Sir Richard Hill and his siblings were well known English preachers and evangelists in the 18th century. He married Mary Wilbraham and inherited Hough Hall. The estate of Hough and Wynbunbury church is shown in the background.  Provenance: by descent through the Hill family.
