'Via Marseilles/pr Emeu' to St Servan, France franked 6d Woodblock, small to good margins, tied by '118' barred numeral and rated '8' decimes' due on arrival. Sandy Creek, Melbourne, Paris, Paris a Brest and St Servan d.s. on rear. The Emeu broke her shaft out of King Georges Sound, arriving at Port Louis under sail. An unusual example from this incident.
