A worksplate, HUDSWELL CLARKE & Co, D1258, 1962, from a 0-6-0 diesel mechanical locomotive new to the Manchester Ship Canal Railway, their No D14, where it spent all its working life. Withdrawn on 13 November 1963, it was dismantled at the Company's Mode Wheel Workshops. Cast brass, 12¾"x8¼", the area around the bolt holes repainted, otherwise original condition. (Postage Band: B)
