7.25 Inch "Hercules". A well engineered 7.25 inch live steam 0-4-0 pannier tank steam locomotive built to the Dick Simmonds "Hercules" design. Silver soldered copper boiler by Bishop Richardson produced 1990 with a 80 psi working pressure, last tested 09/23, next was due 11/24. Cast Iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaerts valve gear - mechanical and axle pump, single injector etc - pole reverser - backhead with sight glass, pressure gauge, blowback valve, regulator etc - hand brake to all wheels. Hercules is in good untested condition, we believe last steamed during '24 - she is finished in unlettered light blue/black with all buffers, couplings etc. Overall length 42 inch - approx weight 295 lbs, and comes complete with a full set of plans and boiler certification
