Gillows of Lancaster - a Victorian mid 19th century figured walnut & leather top breakfront library writing desk. The desk having a squared shaped top with central green leather skiver. Front twin handled drawer with brass drop handles & escutcheons flanked by reeded details. Central kneehole space with upholstered foot rest and splayed reeded column details to sides, all flanked by banks of five drawers. Raised on plinth base. Marked to central drawer Gillows Lancaster.
