A late 19th Meissen blue and white onion pattern dessert service, consisting of a pair of comports and twelve dishes, all with pierced borders, (14). Condition - poor to good, two plates with pieces of border missing, one cracked and one restored with a small piece missing.

Comports good. Two plates with borders chipped and incomplete, shown. Three plates cracked, as shown, two of which have a chip to rim, approx. 8x6mm and 5x3mm, one of these cracks does threaten the structure of the plate. One plate with shallow chip to rim. One plate with a large shallow chip to underside, approx. 15x12mm. One plate with small chip to rim, approx. 4x2mm. One plate bruise to underside of footrim. Others very good. None restored. All items first quality.
