An S Mordan Victorian silver mounted travelling dressing table set, the silver mounted by Henry Tippen, London 1856, the coromandel wood case enclosing ten silver topped glass jars / bottles and a cylindrical silver shaving canister with silver mounted brush, together with a collection of metal dressing implements including; scissors, tweezers, hooks and ivory mounted razors, the hinged cover mirror inset with hidden mechanism to reveal document pouch, the box with brass plaque engraved 'Donne a M. Isidore Brasseur par Albert Edouard Prince de Galles Novembre 1858', case measures approx 31.5cm wide, 24cm deep and 15cm high, withing original leather outer case Note: Registration of an ivory item. Submission reference: PYUHUK4Q Note- The cased set was presented to Isidore Brasseur by the Prince of Wales in 1858. Brasseur was tutor to the Prince for a number of years. Accompanying the case is a letter from the Royal Archives Round Tower Windsor Castle dated 23rd February 1988 from Miss Catherine Ingram, Assistant Registrar relating to the boxes provenance
