1841 (Nov 12) 1d Mulready lettersheet from the Post Office in Middlewich to the Stamp Office in Chester, the address panel endorsed "O.H.M.S", black Maltese Cross cancel, despatch and arrival backstamps, light horizontal fold, otherwise fine. The interesting contents read "I am not aware of having any spoiled stamps in my possession. I do not know exactly when they are useless, perhaps you will drop me a line on the subject, Luke Jackson". Very unusual. Photo on Page 102.
