A French late 18th century sword, of curved form, engraved to the blade with motto 'Ne moi tirez pas sans Raison', and to the other side 'Ne me remettez pas sans honneurs', both below further engraving and a Napoleonic cavalryman, with makers engraving L.A.I.K. Solingen 1782 to the back, blade length 85cm, with scabbard, a/f wooden lining partially split and steel separated.
