A 19th century continental French rosewood & mahogany inlay Portico mantel clock. The clock having a pediment top over an inlaid architrave. Central brass eight-day movement clock face with roman numerals to the chapter ring embellished in relief gilt, framed in the shape of acanthus leaves. Gilt metal pendulum. All flanked by a group of four inlaid columns with Corinthian capitals. Raised on a squared base with bun feet below. Measures approx. 53cm x 26cm x 14cm.
