A locomotive nameplate, RUCKLEY GRANGE, from a GWR 6800 Grange Class 4-6-0 No 6846 built at Swindon in October 1937 and named after the country house at Shifnal in Shropshire. It spent almost all its BR days at St Philips Marsh with a final brief stay at nearby Barrow Road from where it was withdrawn in September 1964 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend.
