black leather body and attached peak. Black patent crown square with brass, floral decorated corners. Black felt, ribbed lower body with yellow gimp edges. Red and yellow joining band. Brass lion mask chinstrap mounts supporting the leather backed, brass chin chain. Red and yellow woollen plume mount with central regimental button. Black horsehair plume. Leather and linen sweatband. Crown with issue stamp date 1913. Helmet plate absent. Minor moth damage.
