A c.1905 pale horn fan, lightly gilded, with olive green silk leaf, cut away in places to reveal mustard gauze, the leaf embroidered with gold sequins and spangles, guard approx. 19cm, contained in a deep card fan box; together with an early 19th century pale horn brisé fan, lightly gilded, clouté with steel, barrel head, guard approx. 15.5cm (2 plus box)

More Information

The first fan is slightly warped, and has some damp issues to the lower edge of the leaf. The brisé has some loss to the clouté steel dots, needs to be re-ribboned and lacks one stick.
