An ancient Chinese painted earthenware pottery figure of a female court attendant, Han dynasty (206 BC - 220AD). Modelled in full length standing with hands held together beneath the sleeves of the long flowing robe. A thermoluminescence analysis test was conducted by Oxford Authentication Limited on the object in 1998 confirming the age of the figure with the letter of authenticity included in this lot. 29.2 cm height.
Condition report: Some age related wear as illustrated. Very small apertures present as a result of testing.
