A Minton Parian figure, 'Comedy', late 19th century, modelled as a seated female figure with long hair in long tunic caught up at the waist and with open sandals in Classical style, holding a garland of roses and other flowers seated on a rock with a primula at its base, after John Bell (British, 1811-1895), bears signature 'John Bell January 1848', 24 by 17 by 35cm.
