1898 Campaign. 1898 Covers endorsed "Nile Expeditionary Force", the first from Darmali (May 26) addressed to Gibraltar franked 2m + 3m + 5m; the second from Atbara (Aug 26) franked at the 5m soldiers concession rate, headed "From 1/C S. Sgt R. Cowan, R.A.M.C". The Atbara cover with light horizontal fold, the Darmali cover fine and unusual to Gibraltar. (2). Photo on Page 206.
