A pair of vintage polo sticks purportedly owned by Prince Jagaut of Jaipur (Man Singh) (1949-1997) in 1970 he had an accident whilst playing polo in Cirencester England, he died later the same day. We were told by the vendor, the prince was a long time friend of the prince when he would stay in England, and when he had financial trouble with banks in the 1970's they were forced to sell some of their assets with which the vendor had bought many individual pieces from the family which may be coming in to future sales, however this is a statement by the vendor so we cannot guarantee its authenticity. The polo sticks are in well used condition, 1 is marked for J.Salter & Son, the other appears unmarked.
