An 1871 pattern helmet with 1st King's Dragoon Guards helmet plate with the number '1' against a black ground and many pointed star, the helmet with foliate band and backstrap, rosette chin strap mounts and multi-link chain, with faceted spike and red plume. The interior with replaced liner, 40cm tall, 24cm deep *Condition: Good condition, plume and interior replaced, with occasional light dents and surface marks.
