WWI 1914/15 Trio - BWM & Victory to 2nd Lieut. Francis Alyn Toogood. He is Cpl. 9230 F. A. Toogood on the Star To France 15.01.1915. In March/April his battalion suffered grievous casualties at Ypres in a gas attack. May have been with them in Macedonia. Commenced Officer training, wounded & captured P.O.W 24.04.1918 at Kemmel Hill. Repatriated Dec 1918. Lot includes 9ct gold East Yorks sweetheart type badge & two officers collars, extensive copy paperwork. GVF.
