Scots Guards Officer's peaked forage cap. A good mid 20th Century example of dark blue melton cloth body, patent leather peak with row of bullion, diced cap band and gold gimp cord piping to the welt. Complete with silvered, gilt and green enamel cap star to the front. Leather sweatband and tailor label of Edward Smith, Cork Street (by appointment to HM King George VI). Some service wear, overall clean condition. GC
