A bulkhead engine room telegraph and indicator from a vessel of the Irrawaddy Flotilla, maker Ulugalry & Sons, Rome: the 5 inch dial telegraph with single brass lever mounted on a shaped mahogany backboard over the 7 inch dial indicator and connected by a chain, both dials signed as per title, overall size 91x25cm, together with a copy of McCrae, M & Prentice, A 'Irrawaddy Flotilla' , 1978, James Patterson Ltd, with dust wrapper. *Notes- the Irrawaddy Flotilla company was a Scottish owned company that ran cargo and passenger services on the Irrawaddy River, Burma from 1865 to the 1940s. At it's peak in the 1920s it was the largest river fleet in the world.
